One hour looking after our own little corner of Newcastle.
Join Steve and the Yoga x Life community for a Sunday litter pick around Ouseburn. We’ll meet at the studio at 11:30, then spend an hour looking after the streets, paths and green spaces around us.
This date follows the Ouseburn Christmas lights switch-on and our Christmas social on Saturday 14 November — a chance to give the neighbourhood some care after the celebrations.
Our litter picks have been part of life at YxL for years. We’re still using our original British-made litter pickers, made by a charity from recycled disposable face masks — turning one bit of waste into something that helps us collect another.
We’ll provide the litter pickers and Steve will guide us to the areas that need attention. Everyone is welcome; you don’t need to be a Yoga x Life member.
We’ll start and finish at the studio, with a free coffee when we get back and time to sit down together afterwards.
It’s completely free to join. Please book a space so we know roughly how many people to expect.
