New at YxL for the 2025 Pride celebrations.
Join us on Wednesday 16 July at 6:30pm, to warm up for Northern Pride, with the ultimate party yoga flow. For one night only we’re putting away the incense, turning up the tunes and welcoming in ALL the glitter.
Pick a mat under the disco lights and be guided through fun and fierce yoga sequences, accompanied by a banging playlist of Pride Classics. From Kylie and Cher to Taylor and Sabrina, and of course Chappell Roan, Danni will lead you through a series of light-hearted flows, designed to help you feel at one with your body and spirit. Of course, singing, dancing and freedom of expression are very much encouraged!
Psst, it’s a Wednesday, so wearing pink is definitely encouraged.
Tickets are priced at £15 and all proceeds go to Akt, the UK’s National Charity for LGBTQ+ Youth Homelessness.
If you can’t make it, you’re more than welcome to hit the donate button, just £31 can provide emergency supplies to a young person coming off the streets.
Whilst many people take to the streets (or the yoga mat!) to celebrate Pride, many LGBTQ+ young people across the UK have nowhere to go. Rejected by their families simply for being who they are, they are left to face the streets, alone and scared.
Akt work tirelessly to change that, providing safe accommodation alongside access to food, supplies and support. With rising hostility against the LGBTQ+ community, their services have never been more in demand. No one should have to choose between a safe space to sleep, and simply being themselves.

ABOUT DANNI
A cis-gender heterosexual woman, Danni is a fierce ally to the community. With a 15 year career in media, and now turning her focus to the yoga mat and her healing work, she is excited to use her time to create a safe space for the LGBTQ+ community to have fun, celebrate Pride, and raise money for a cause close to her heart.
“Being yourself should not be a privilege. I’ve been lucky to support many of my friends through coming out, and rightfully, on the majority this has been warmly accepted. However I have also witnessed the other side, and this is simply, not acceptable.Pride is a source of fun every year, and I am happy to stand alongside my friends at the parties, spend time choosing our outfits and perfecting our playlists and celebrating them for who they are. This year I want to raise money for those who are not quite as lucky.”
