Aerial Slow Flow

  • Yoga x Life Studios Yoga x Life, Portland Road Newcastle upon Tyne, England, NE2 1DW United Kingdom (map)

If you've tried aerial yoga at Yoga x Life before, this isn't that. Where our usual aerial sessions bring energy and a bit of playful challenge, Aerial Slow Flow turns the same slings toward something quieter: a slow, somatic practice that uses the support of the sling to help you soften, rather than to swing, flip or push an edge.

Chris will guide you through unhurried, supported movement where the sling is doing much of the holding, so your body can properly let go. Expect long, gentle shapes, supported stretches, and the kind of decompression that's genuinely hard to access on a mat alone. It's less about what the pose looks like and more about what it lets you feel: spine lengthened, joints supported, nervous system settling.

No aerial experience is needed - if anything, this is an easier entry point into the slings than our more dynamic sessions, precisely because the pace is so unhurried.

This session is capped at just 6 participants.
