If the evenings first workshop is about having the strength, this session is about spending it well. Pressing to handstand is as much a skill as a strength move - a precise sequence of weight shift, compression and timing that has to be learned, not just built. Chris takes the same foundations and puts them to work: breaking the press down into its component parts, then layering them back together into one controlled movement.
Expect real technical depth here - the exact order your weight needs to move, how to use compression actively rather than just holding it, and the coordination that separates a controlled press from a kicked-up scramble. This session carries a bit more technique and detail than Workshop 1, and is best suited to those who want to go deeper into the how, not just the strength behind it.
Some experience of handstand work or inversions will help you get the most from this session, though Chris will support you at whatever stage you're arriving at.
